REFLEKTOR: How does “Light & Dark” come to life in your installation?
‘The Aurora Path’ creates a magical oasis in the darkness, enticing the passer-by by extending an existing playground’s hours of use. The installation consists of swaying elements that move in a natural rhythm, where the everyday Danish greenery meets the wonders of nature and our fantasies. The work plays around with Aurora in the sky, the fireflies in the trees, and encourages the viewer to find their way through a magical maze.”
An interdisciplinary group of Master Students from Aalborg University (Cph) Lighting Design carry out their second-year semester project for REFLEKTOR – a project based on three core values: Learning through play, enhancing a community feeling, and exploring city nature.
